Can I choose where you get the groceries from? For example HEB, Walmart or whole foods?

      1. Will Shipt do Costco?
      2. Can you ask them to go to different HEB (5miles farther but giant and has more options)
      3. What if you have a problem with food that was delivered?

Hi, Kim!! Great questions. Shipt delivers from Costco in select metro areas. For our most current Costco coverage areas, visit Shipt.com/Costco. You can mark in your delivery notes a preferred location, and our shoppers will take that into account and try their best to accommodate the request. If you have an issue with your delivery, you can call 205.502.2500 or visit Shipt.com/Contact to get in touch with our member experience team.

You CANNOT choose where the groceries are purchased. Different markets have different stores. In Nashville the groceries are purchased only at Publix. I understand that in Florida the groceries are purchased at Kroger’s.

        Hi Maryann!

        Thanks for commenting 🙂

In some of our markets, you can choose your store! In most of Florida, we currently service from both Publix and ABC Fine Wine and Spirits. Hope that helps!

What about refrigerated items or frozen items? Does someone have to be there to accept delivery?

In order to maintain freshness, you should be available to accept delivery of the groceries you’ve ordered.

Why can’t you use the EBT online? If you set up a pin for that then only you can use it.

Alyssa, thanks for answering, however this is not a statement true, many places accept it – just looked it up – Schwans, Fresh Direct, Fresh Madison’s Market, Heb, Safeway and others. This would indicate that there is indeed a way to accept EBT online.

I know this isn’t how it usually works for tipped employees so I find it very admirable that your business lets employees keep 100% of their tips. That’s how I believe it should be everywhere, as most people intend their tip to be a thank you to the employees for their individual service.

They aren’t employees but independent contractors. They are paid on commission and tips only. Not hourly

What if I’m not happy with the service in a short time frame? Am I still out the yearly service fee or do you have a refund or trial policy?
I’d like to try your service but the year long commitment seems awfully steep.
    Thanks

It’s quite unfortunate that this service is in selected areas of San Antonio, Texas. There are people in my zip code area (78214) who really do want to benefit from Shipt.

I like the idea of it for the same reasons I am a single mom and I have dyspraxia so I don’t drive I also have migraines and SPD and RA is taking my strength a bit and the idea of not having to go out and shop in unexpected inclement weather when I can’t wait to get certain items – especially if I’ve had to wait a bit to go shopping is aweome. And water is a challenge and tp as its unweildy. Likely will only use on these ocassions as the more I move the better I feel so I start on my day taking a two mile walk “around the block” past a grocery store. And its easier as I try to get mostly fresh items. Its an awesome service.

Hi this sounds awesome, I am disabled & cannot drive any longer, don’t like depending on others feel like a burden. When a shopper applies for a job what type of info is requirred? Do you drug screen & do background checks?

      Hi, Sue!
All of our shoppers must pass an extensive background check. We require that shoppers are insured, have reliable transportation, are friendly, have great judgment skills, clean backgrounds, knowledge in grocery shopping, and clean driving records.

Mmmm…fried chicken AND ice cream delivered to my door? WOW! I must check into this! Like Jean, I may be 50 but my debilitating arthritis and neuropathy pain is keeping me home more often! (And since a shopper is doing the shopping for you, you’re not tempted to buy those little indulgences you really don’t need!?) If that grocery store you shop at has a pharmacy or floral department, would you be able to pick up prescriptions and bring flowers? ?

Are club cards and coupons accepted? A lot of grocery stores also have fuel discounts or other rewards now and most can be utilized with a phone number, will shoppers be able to use a card or number associated with a store account?

Can you tell me why you will not use customers’ store reward cards? All the shopper would need to do is enter my phone number at checkout. Please be honest with your answer – like don’t just say “we are unable to” or “we hope to in the future” – please tell me WHY the shopper can’t enter my rewards number.

For example I only buy groceries from Whole Foods. I would have used this service if I can pick the store.

Do you know when you’ll be delivering for the Castleton-area Costco in Indiana? (The zip is 46250.) Will you be delivering “everything” (TVs, plants, etc.) or just food? Will I be able to use the coupons in their flyers with you?
