Black-Owned Brand Spotlight: McBride Sisters Collection

We love seeing brands that are breaking the mold on the path to success, which is exactly what the McBride Sisters Collection personifies. As the largest Black-owned wine company in the United States. They are doing a fabulous job of carving out their own space in the industry. Three cheers for innovation and Black girl magic!

Learn more about their amazing story:

Our story is proof that a bond can form over a bottle of wine; a truth that comes to life with every McBride Sisters wine.

You can always count on sisters to make the perfect pair! Raised separately in California and New Zealand, sisters Robin and Andrea didn’t know about each other for most of their lives. In 1999, they finally were able to meet and soon discovered that they both share a love of all things wine. And so, in 2005 the McBride Sisters Collection was born.

Their united passion for wine-making and shaking up the industry has led to the creation of wines that blend “old-world elegance and new-world finesse.” By following their own path, these groundbreaking women turned their obstacles into opportunities and now own the largest Black-owned wine company in the United States.

Excellence shows up not only in the taste of their wine but also in their business practices. The McBride Sisters Collection proudly upholds its values of inclusivity, accessibility, sustainability, and social awareness. Their eco-friendly SHE CAN collection and SHE CAN Professional Development Fund are inspired by barrier-breaking women. Also, their Black Girl Magic collection is inspired by the awesomeness of Black women and is an ode to the sisters’ culture and story. These ladies are leading by example and we can’t wait to see more of where they’re going.
