In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cooking with Reese is going pink. Inspired by cancer-protective diet recommendations from the American Institute for Cancer Research, our resident chef, Clarisse M. created this delicious and nutritious fruit smoothie packed full of antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
While there’s no magic cure or superfood for prevention, research shows that eating foods that are high in fiber, nutrients, and phytochemicals may help to prevent cancer and other chronic diseases.*
Healthy Mixed Berry Smoothie
1 cup frozen mixed berries
¼ cup fresh strawberries
⅓ cup brewed green tea
½ cut banana
1 teaspoon honey
1. Remove the stems from the strawberries and cut into chunks.
2. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
