Set Galentine’s Day apart with some delightful blood orange cocktails, a heart-shaped charcuterie board of your favorite crackers, cheeses and fruits — and the big finale: delicious strawberries and cream pie. Whether gearing up for a night on the town or curled up watching movies together at home, these recipes are sure to make this year’s Galentine’s Day truly special. 

Galentine’s Day Recipes

Ingredients 

Charcuterie Board

  • Heart-shaped pretzels
  • Crackers
  • Beet hummus
  • Honey
  • Grapes
  • Blackberries
  • Raspberries
  • Figs
  • Walnuts
  • Macarons 
  • Manchego cheese
  • Bleu cheese
  • Salami

Strawberries and Cream Pie

  • 4 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 8 graham crackers, crumbled
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted 
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Strawberries

Blood Orange French 75 

  • Ice
  • 1/4 cup blood orange, juiced
  • 1/8 cup fresh lemon
  • Agave nectar
  • 1/2 oz gin
  • Champagne
  • Blood orange slices 

Directions 

Charcuterie Board

Arrange crackers, dips, fruits, nuts, cheeses and meats on heart-shaped charcuterie board and bon appétit! 

Strawberries and Cream Pie

Place yogurt in colander lined with paper towel or cheesecloth, then place colander in larger bowl. Refrigerate overnight to strain. 

Add honey, vanilla extract, and both lemon juice and zest to yogurt bowl and mix until smooth and combined. Set aside. 

In a new bowl, combine graham cracker crumbles, melted butter, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir until mixed. 

Transfer crust mixture to oiled tart tray. Lightly pack crust along sides and bottom of pan until evenly distributed. 

Bake at 350ºF for 12 minutes or until crust is golden brown. 

Spoon yogurt filling over crust and smooth. Press strawberries (sliced in heart-shapes, if you prefer!) gently and evenly across yogurt filling. 

Refrigerate for 3 hours and then enjoy! 

Blood Orange French 75 

Fill cocktail shaker with ice, blood orange and fresh lemon juice, agave nectar and gin. Shake well. 

Strain gin mixture into cocktail glass. Top with champagne and garnish with a blood orange slice.
