More than a wine shop. In addition to their hand-picked collection of artisanal wines, they carry a well-curated selection of craft beers and small batch spirits with an emphasis on local breweries and distilleries. In 2000, Raphael Keller-Go moved from Switzerland to Boston with an MBA and a passion for wine. But something didn’t translate. Where were the clean, nicely appointed shops with friendly, knowledgeable staff members ready to answer questions and make recommendations? Where was the fun of discovering new and interesting wines from emerging boutique vineyards? He took matters into his own hands and in 2004, opened the first of four Vinodivino shops in Newton, where he lives with his wife and two children. Raphael divides his time between all four of his Boston area locations and loves talking wine and catching up with his customers. In 2007, Raphael partnered with Rodolfo Neirotti to open three more Vinodivino locations. Born in Argentina to an Italian family from Piedmont Italy, Rodolfo grew up around wine and developed his own passion and palate. He’s one of roughly 1,000 in the country to hold a Diploma in Wine & Spirits (DWS) and personally curates the Vinodivino collection. He works with the Vinodivino teams in each location to ensure the wine, craft beer and small batch spirits are reflective of what the customers in each neighborhood are looking for.
