Chateau Bread Dumplings

Keep frozen. Range Top Directions (Preferred method): 1. Remove dumplings from box. Slightly thaw to help separate slices. 2. Place in perforated sieve, colander or food steamer (as shown on right). Allow space between slices for uniform steam penetration and cooking. 3. Cover and steam for 10 minutes (maximum 20 minutes). 4. Serve when moist and fluffy, covered with sauce or gravy. Microwave Directions (Caution: Microwave ovens vary. Avoid toughening dumplings by over-cooking. Adjust cooking time accordingly) (Follow Directions Carefully): 1. Remove dumplings from carton. 2. Add 4 tablespoons of water to the bag with dumplings. 3. Close bag to retain moisture and steam. 4. Heat on regular power 3-4 minutes (reduce time and/or power level if not preparing entire package or if using a high watt microwave). 5. Serve steaming hot covered with gravy, cooking sauce or butter. Serve Chateau Dumplings with chicken & gravy, roast beef au jus, or pork and kraut. For a meal in minutes serve with either frozen creamed chipped beef, sausage and gravy, or top with chili.
