Mom's Best Quick Oats

Cooking Directions: Stove Top: 1. Boil water and salt. 2. Stir in oats. 3. Cook about 1 minute over medium heat; stir occasionally. Microwave (One Serving): 1. Combine water, salt and oats in medium microwaveable bowl. 2. Microwave 1-1/2 to 2 minutes; stir before serving. Caution! Bowl may be hot. Servings: 1: 1/2 cup oats; 1 cup water; dash salt (optional). 2: 1 cups oats; 1-3/4 cups water; 1/8 tsp salt (optional). 3: 1-1/2 cups oats; 2-1/2 cups water; 1/8 tsp salt (optional). 6: 3 cups oats; 5 cups water; 1/4 tsp salt (optional).
