The La Comandanta chiltepín is collected by hand by Tehuima indigenous people in the Sierra de Sonora so it is wild and 100% agroecological. The Sonoran population also uses it in a curative way, to relieve ailments of the body and soul, such as: ear and toothache; rheumatism, flu, cough, weakness, parasites, arachnid bites, hangovers and the evil eye.
