The ranch provides a bountiful landscape for the herd to forage upon with a comparable altitude Yak have thrived upon for thousands of years in the native regions they were imported from across Central Asia and the Himalayas. When natural flora is less abundant during the Winter months, their diets are supplemented with Certified Organic hay. Being 90% fat free, Yak is a healthy red meat alternative that has more protein and a greater density of nutritional content per serving, including zinc, niacin, and B vitamins, than Skinless Chicken, Salmon, and Beef. Yak is incredibly tender and has a clean, subtle flavor that tastes similar to Bison but is slightly sweeter.
