Behind every bag of artfully seasoned classic butterfly popcorn is a born and raised Detroiter, Magita Barbee aka Jetta. As a self proclaimed fun food lover, Magita has supplied Southeast Michigan with tasty treats for decades. Jettas is the result of years of listening to customers, collaborating with family, an ever-growing passion to serve others, prayer, and faith in God. When shes not mixing bags of local favorites like her Eastside and Westside Mixes at Brightmoor Artisans Collective. Magita teaches computer technology, business, and entrepreneurship in Detroit Public Schools at her Alma Mater, Denby High School where she developed a love for retail and marketing as a co-op student and DECA member. Today, she encourages and teaches students how to discover and pursue their passions. Breezin, Magitas first business started in 1997 as a seasonal ice cream truck, officially retired in 2011.
