Kentucky Green pre-grinds the limestone in the manufacturing process making their pelleted lime more readily available to the plants. Lime helps raise the PH of the soil. Also works well in vegetable gardens as it prevents problems like blossom end rot. Safe for use around pets and children. Dissolves quickly.
