Luxardo Maraschino, produced from the proprietary Luxardo Sour Marasca Cehrries, is still made using the original recipe from 1821 and the legendary ingredient used to make the Aviation, Last Word & other classic cocktails. The cherries are infused in larchwood vats for 3 years after which the infusion is distilled in small copper pot stills & aged for one more year in Finnish ash wood. n
