Single-barbed coupling fits 1/4 inch tubing or dripline. Connects 1/4 inch tubing or dripline together & to other drip parts. Handles water pressures up to 50 psi. Connects two sections of 1/4 inch supply tubing or dripline together, or connects a 1/4 inch feeder line that branches off a 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, or 0.710 inch supply line. Works in a variety of areas, from small to large, flat or sloped, transports water to trees, shrubs, flower beds, groundcover, vegetable gardens, plants in pots, planter boxes, and hanging baskets. Insert barbed end into the drip tubing opening and anchor it in place, soften the tubing end so it's easier to work with by soaking in hot water or leaving out in the sun for pliability. Fitting is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), a type of plastic, treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking. 1/4 inch barbed couplings come in a pack of 10. Works with Raindrip products and other products with compatible connection type.
