Connects 5/8 inch tubing or dripline to 3/4 inch MPT pipe. Use to transition from pipe to distribution tubing. Handles water pressures up to 50 psi. Connect to 3/4 inch MPT pipe or pipe-threaded component to 5/8 inch distribution tubing or dripline. Thread the 3/4 inch FPT connection point onto the 3/4 inch MPT pipe on one end, insert the 5/8 inch tubing into the other end, where an internal barb holds it in place. Compression fitting creates a watertight seal, internal barb that compresses the inserted tubing to hold it in place, unlike a barbed fitting, the tubing is not stretched out to connect to the fitting. Fitting is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), a type of plastic, treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking. Comes with one 5/8 inch X 3/4 inch FPT Compression Adapter, compression ring is color-coded for easy identification. Works with Raindrip products and other products with compatible connection type.
