Can be painted if using a bonding primer first, must follow paint manufacturers instructions for painting polyurethane surfaces. Turncraft's polyurethane cap and bases are engineered for strength and durability, they are load bearing and contain no wood components to warp, rot or decay. Designed for long life, Turncraft poly cap and base kits are manufactured with vents allowing adequate air flow and for expansion and contraction. Use with Turncraft Colonial Columns (Lowe's item 258476).
