We’re a community of thinkers, dreamers, and doers committed to helping people get what they need. At Shipt, people come first. Every day is a new opportunity to serve others and grow ourselves, because we believe that when you invest in people, success is inevitable.
Southern charm. Silicon Valley gumption. National recognition. Shipt embodies all these facets and more. Our people are just as dynamic – from skydivers to Dungeon Masters, we each bring unique perspectives while sharing the same passion for community. And the result is kinda magical.
Whether we’re at work or representing Shipt in our words and actions, we keep these values top of mind to champion a culture of transparency, collaboration, and personal growth.
Always pushing forward and finding ways to contribute.
Coming together quickly to meet a challenge.
Having an optimistic energy that lifts up the team.
Being true to yourself and accepting of others.
Staying attuned to other people and doing right by them.
We strive to create an environment that helps people thrive with fair compensation, work-life balance, and growth opportunities.
Our engineers are at the forefront of creating new tools that help bring people together and get the things they need.
What started as a stressful shopping trip with infants became an idea for a new way to shop that's now serving 280+ U.S. markets with more than 100k shoppers and 80 million households.
Shipt launched in the summer of 2014 in the heart of the Magic City, Birmingham, AL and opened its San Francisco office in 2016. Not only is this great for frequent flier miles, we get the chance to collaborate and learn from experts in fields we admire (and some we never know existed).
Our original office is located in the heart of Birmingham, with our second office, Shipt Tower, being just a stone’s throw away. Take a walk to historic Railroad Park, take in live music, and grab some seriously good BBQ.
Our SF office is conveniently located downtown among tech giants and art museums, so inspiration is around every corner. Walk to the Ferry Building to view the bay, hit up a silent disco, or see what convention is going on next door.
