If a shopper or driver ever feels unsafe while delivering, the ADT services available within the shopper app allow them to quickly connect with a dedicated ADT agent and receive support for emergency assistance in two ways.


  • Request a call from ADT: This option connects you to an ADT Security agent who will call you and stay on the line with you until you feel safe.
  • Request 911 assistance: This option will trigger a silent alarm to let ADT know to dispatch emergency services to your real-time location. ADT will send you a text message letting you know that 911 has been dispatched.

Our 24/7 support team is also always available via phone, live chat, and email if you ever need to drop an order for any reason. We also offer a contactless delivery option to provide a safe and easy experience for all.

Your privacy and security are important to us, which is why we offer Allstate Identity Protection plans for earners on our platform, and require a 2-factor authentication process when using the shopper or driver app. This provides an extra layer of security and protection to your account.

Communication is key to providing excellent customer service. With Shipt, your phone number is never shared with customers. Instead, an anonymized phone number is created to ensure your privacy is safe.
