Taylor timers are one of the key secrets to cooking a great meal. Taylor provides you with accurate and easy to use timers like the 5831 timer. This timer counts down from 60 minutes to 1 minute. The 5831 has large, easy to read numbers on the dial and an easy to operate mechanical pointer. When the timer hits zero, a long, loud bell rings. This timer can also be used for other things not just cooking. Such as allowing children certain amount of time to use the computer, to read a book, or even for time outs. It is backed by a one year limited warranty. Helpful Hints: For the loudest and longest ring follow the instructions to wind the timer past 55 minutes before setting the desired time.
