Shipt interns are hands-on team members. You might get the opportunity to build Chrome extensions, create full-fledged marketing campaigns, or receive professional certifications on your career interests.

Leader
You’ll report to and work closely with your leader throughout your internship. They’ll set up your workload, help you connect with the team, and offer valuable feedback to help you grow.
Buddies
Buddies are full-time Shipt team members who you'll be paired with. Think of them as a resource to lean on. They’ll be there to answer questions, help you feel acclimated, and guide you throughout your internship.
Mentor
Mentors are senior-level team members with a wealth of knowledge and lived experiences to share. To make sure you get the most out of your time, each mentor is chosen based on your specific interests.
Donut Groups
This is an exclusive, interns-only moment to connect with your cohort. You'll also have the chance to join the company-wide Donut Group where you can meet colleagues across Shipt.
Grow your professional portfolio
By the time your internship ends, you should walk away with several bodies of completed work and tons of new areas of experience and exposure.
Types of projects include:
Personal projects - this is your opportunity to use your time with Shipt to work toward academic needs, class credit, research, dissertation, etc.
Capstone projects - just because you’re an intern doesn’t mean you don’t have something to teach us! These are projects that directly impact Shipt by solving problems specific to the company or offering lessons the organization can learn from.
Problem-solving projects - enriching smaller projects to teach or hone basic skills that are valuable to you and will help the company. They may be specific tasks, research, or even work on larger initiatives. Ideally, you’ll complete several shorter term projects.
