1. What excites you most about your job?

Every day, I get to be a cheerleader to our shoppers and applaud their hard work. I love hearing the stories our shoppers share their experiences. The Shopper Coaching team really wants the best for our shoppers and being there to support them warms my heart every day.

2. What’s your favorite meal to make for or enjoy with your family?

I really enjoy cooking and a challenging recipe makes it even better –– which is why eggplant parmesan is my favorite meal to make. The process is very detailed and needs to be precise, which makes it both rewarding and delicious!

3. What’s the last book you read?

When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris. I relate to his stories a lot because I always find myself in funny situations with strangers. I think I must have a really friendly aura! People love to come talk to me and I just roll with it. Once a grandma asked me if I was hungry as we were waiting for the bus, and we ate fresh homemade pork buns together. Another time, I parked my car in front of a house and I told the owner I liked his garden. When I came back to my car, I found that he packed me three huge bags of succulent trimmings! I don’t know what it is, but I just make friends with everyone.

4. You’re making a PB&J. White or wheat? Crunchy or creamy? Strawberry or grape jelly? Any wacky ingredients on top (bacon, pickles, etc.)?

Almond butter, sliced banana, honey, and chia seeds on toasted white bread.

5. What’s your favorite place in your city?

That’s a tough one. It’s a tie between a Giants game at AT&T Park and the part of San Francisco where Golden Gate Park ends and Ocean Beach begins!

6. If you could deliver groceries to anyone in the world, who would it be?

The Obama family or Ina Garten.

7. Complete this sentence: I love working at Shipt because…

We all want to make everyone’s lives a little easier. A lot of good is brewing here!

8. What’s the photo on your phone’s home-screen?

The Great Wave off Kanagawa*, the famous Japanese print. I grew up by the beach so anything ocean-related makes me happy and reminds me home.

9.What’s your favorite Shipt memory?

My first day at Shipt. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and real – I knew from the start this was a good place to be.

10. What’s been your favorite project that you’ve worked on at Shipt?

Being a Shipt shopper and a shopper coach. It’s great to be a part of both sides of Shipt. When I’m a shopper coach and help shoppers in similar situations, it’s a good feeling when I can offer advice and think to myself, “I’ve been there! I’m here for you!”
