Starting the decade with a splash: Say hi to the new Shipt. 

Today we celebrate our commitment to you with a fresh, new look. Find out what’s changing – and what’s not! – with our first ever major brand refresh.

First, a look back. 

The last few years have marked incredible growth for us. Shipt was founded in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2014 and quickly spread through the Southeast and Midwest. At the end of 2017, we were acquired by Target and expanded with lightning speed – going coast to coast (and even to Hawaii!) – tripling our footprint. In the last year, we added 29 new retailers to our marketplace, and in addition to delivering insanely fresh produce, we now deliver pet products, cookware, and office supplies. We’ve also grown our Shipt Shopper base to over 100,000 shoppers.

Why the update?

The more popularity we gained, the more responsibility we carried to clearly communicate our mission of being people-first. So at the close of 2019, we stocked up on extra strong espresso and set off to rebrand Shipt.

With this new look, we stay true to our friendly and trustworthy values that attracted our earliest fans, while creating space to grow with the demand – to honor our heritage while laying a foundation for 2020 and beyond. This was our guiding principle throughout the months leading up to this reveal.

The more things change…

Our new logo represents a bold departure from our beloved spaceship. It’s bright. It’s friendly. It symbolizes the pride hundreds of Shipt employees and thousands of Shipt Shoppers take everyday in making sure you get exactly what you want, just the way you want it. It’s also a friendly nod to our classic green shopping bags.

Over the next couple of months, you’ll notice visual updates across the entire Shipt experience – from our website and app to emails and shopper apparel. We can’t wait for you to see it.
