Upgrade Your Frozen Pizza

We love the convenience and taste of DiGiorno’s pizza. This week, we’re serving up two ways to upgrade your frozen pizza from great to gourmet in less than 30 minutes. Transport yourself to the Italian coast with flavorful ingredients like prosciutto, arugula and burrata, or redefine “cold pizza” for breakfast by adding eggs and bacon, these recipes are sure to round out any day.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients
  • 1 DiGiorno Four Cheese Rising Crust Pizza
  • 6 strips cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp chives, chopped
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 shallot, diced
Directions
  1. Remove the DiGiorno Pizza from its packaging and crack eggs on top of the pizza. Then top with bacon, mozzarella, scallions, shallot, parsley and chives.
  2. Bake at 400ºF for 20 minutes. Allow pizza to cool, slice into pieces and enjoy!

Prosciutto, Arugula and Burrata Pizza

Ingredients
  • 1 DiGiorno Four Cheese Rising Crust Pizza
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 8 oz burrata
  • 6 oz prosciutto
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Balsamic glaze
Directions
  1. Remove the DiGiorno Pizza from its packaging and top with burrata, mozzarella, oregano, garlic and prosciutto. Bake at 400ºF for 20 minutes.
  2. While the pizza bakes, dress the arugula with olive oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Top the cooked pizza with dressed arugula and sprinkle with red pepper flakes, to taste.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the pizza, slice into pieces and dig in!
